What a great day we had for a fireworks shoot. My father and I invited the Pa.Pyrotechnic Artists club members to come here and have some fun lighting fireworks. Pa. Pyro's invited another club that I belong. (The Crackerjacks) due to our biggest shoots of the year getting rained on pretty bad. A huge thanks goes out to Joel Oyler of Oyler electric for coming out and drilling the holes for all the large shells with his skid loader. It would have took a whole day to dig those things without it. Joel and another friend Bobby Bingaman worked so hard all day and all night. Bobby's 4-wheeler came in so handy. I also want to thank all the firefighters from Mont Alto fire Company that watched the area for fires. Fayetteville fire company had been at my show in July of 04. Mont Alto had to put out a few really small fires. Lonnie , my neighbor had a small one that he stomped out.  There were some complaints of windows shaking and some calls to the state police. Also calls were made to Greene Township.  As I once heard from a co-worker "it takes all kinds to make a world" It just wouldn't be the same without the complainers. There were around 10 shells that would have been the window shakers. It took less than 10 minutes to set those off. Couldn't have been that bad.

Theres a good chance people that got  to see the big shells from this show will never see that scale of fireworks again in this area.

Joel's skid loader saved so much time burying the mortars.
